The Latinas Divinas of Arizona gather to celebrate the extraordinary impact of famous Latina Artists who have touched our hearts and souls with their music and storytelling. These women have not only shaped the world of music but have also inspired us with their stories of resilience, passion, and love.
The show takes us through an exciting journey of music, dance and storytelling. Featuring the Latina Divinas from Arizona, female local performing artists who will pay tribute to select Latina Artists such as Celia Cruz, Rocío Dúrcal, Lila Downs, Gloria Esteban and more. Mariachi, Ballet Folklorico and Urban Latin dancers enhance the music and message.
The contest is open to all girls ages 13 - 18. We are searching for the next teen Latina Divina Vocalist in Arizona!
Once you send us your contact information, we will send you instructions on how to enter the competition. The first part is to audition by sending in a video recording of yourself.
The chosen 10 finalists will participate in a singing competition to be held at
ALAC - Arizona Latino Arts Center

Saturday, August 16th 1 - 4 PM
The winner will appear live in the Latinas Divinas show at the Mesa Art Center and will be interviewed by Arizona Barrio Stories and Latino USA TV!
